Iowa State Council of Machinists collection
The Iowa State Council of Machinists, made up of representatives of the districts and lodges of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers in the state of Iowa, formed in 1939. This collection contains minutes from the Iowa State Machinists Council (1952) and agreements of Local Lodge 831 (Cedar Rapids, Iowa).

The John Sugg collection consists of video cassette tapes (VHS) on Eastern Air Lines, employee services, and broadcasts on pertinent topics for workers of the time.

R. H. Baucom (1897-1967) was a member of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers Local Lodge 776 (Fort Worth, Tex.), who worked at the Convair aircraft plant in Fort Worth. His IAM collection includes Local Lodge 776 membership dues books and his retirement card (1946-1962), as well as a brief reminiscence written by his daughter, Tommie Baucom-Richardson.

The Robert Haynes International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers Collection, 1970-1996, consists of legal documents, pamphlets, periodicals, training materials, and benefits plans. Robert Haynes was a labor leader within both the IAMAW, Local Lodge 1650 and IAMAW and Air Transport District Lodge 142 with managed the workers for TWA airlines.

Tom Ducy served as General Secretary-Treasurer of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM), 1987-1993. Collection includes an IAM constitution, 1913; and minutes of IAM Lodge 47, also know as the Pioneer Lodge (Commerce City, Colo.),1889-1891; and a jurisdictional agreement that was part of a collective bargaining agreement with the Curtiss-Wright Corporation Airplane Division, St. Louis Plant, 1942.

William E. Clitheroe (1906-1972) was born in Millhill, England. He was an education director of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers and a staff member of the Texas AFL-CIO headquarters in Austin, Texas. His papers contain material related to AFL-CIO Region 6, contracts and agreements, speeches, and printed material, 1956 to 1971.
