Biography of John Sugg

John "Buddy" Sugg worked as a union machinist at Eastern Air Lines in the 1980s and was a member of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM). During his time at Eastern, Sugg led the Contracting-in Committee, which ensured that Eastern repaired its own equipment, and the Efficiency Credit Teams, which investigated ways to boost productivity and minimize cost. After leaving Eastern Air Lines, Sugg continued to be active in promoting unions and employee strengthening programs.
