Anna R. Samick is one of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers’ pioneering female leaders. The Anna R. Samick International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers Collection consists of photographs, artifacts, awards, certificates, and educational materials. A large amount of these materials detail a educational trip Samick made to Africa (Nigeria, Sierra Leone, and Ghana) to help organized labor in the early 1990s.

Frank E'Dalgo (1912-2001) was a union organizer and leader for the AFL and the IAMAW. His papers consist of correspondence, newspaper clippings and two agreements related to his work for the International Association of Machinists.

The Records, 1956-1971, of the Georgia State Council of Machinists consist of correspondence, minutes, financial documents, and printed material, the bulk being correspondence and minutes.

The Georgia State Council of Machinists records consist of one folder of materials from the Centenial Convention Committee, 1988 and a photograph of the Atlanta Labor Temple.

International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAMAW) Collection consists of items of historical interest that were forwarded to the IAMAW headquarters or its educational center, including videocassettes, published books, photographs, and manuscripts, 1915, 1942, 1953, 1958, 1986-1995, 2010. They are related only in general subject matter.

The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers collection of Panama Canal Zone records consists of 2 dues books, 1 bylaws, and Employment Information and Personnel Policies. Local Lodges 811 (Christobol) and 699 (Balboa) both represented machinists working in the Panama Canal Zone.

The collection consists of 169 agreements, 1940-1992, between various local unions of the International Association of Machinists or the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers and numerous manufacturing and transportation corporations, government facilities, labor unions, and other entities.

International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, District Lodge 4 (Atlanta, Ga.) and Local Lodge 1 (Atlanta, Ga.) collection, 1926-1934, 1956-1959, 1969, 1980, undated, includes paperwork related to bonded officials of Lodge 1, constitutions, a 1980 District 4 newsletter, and sound recordings distributed by the international union.

The collection consists of records of District Lodge 46 (Atlanta, Ga.) of the International Association of Machinists from 1937-1965. Consists primarily of correspondence and contracts relating to union recognition and contract negotiation.

International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, District Lodge 143 represented the union employees that worked for Northwest Airlines, predominantly in the Great Lakes Region of the United States. The IAMAW District Lodge 143 records (1950s-2010) consist of grievance and arbitration files, contract negotiation materials, bankruptcy proceedings, and documents regarding the merger with Delta Airlines.

International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, District Lodge 143 represented airline workers in the Great Lakes region of North America, specifically with Northwest Airlines. The records (1946-2009) consist of bylaws, benefits and retirement information, conventions proceedings, contracts, apprenticeship materials, publications seniority lists, committee materials, financial records, artifacts, photographs, audiovisual materials, and various types of correspondence.

International Association of Machinists, Local Lodge 6 (Galveston, Texas), was founded in the late 1880s and merged with Local Lodge 1786 in July 2005. The lodge represented workers in a variety of industries in and around Galveston. Its records, 1929-1962, include ledgers, dues books, and artifacts.

IAMAW Local Lodge 37 was chartered on July 11, 1899, and dissolved in the late 1980s. Its records relate to the day-to-day activities of a major New Orleans union and its relationship to the International headquarters, and include constitutions, bylaws, minutes, correspondence, agreement reports, financial records, membership cards and artifacts.

Erie machinists initially were chartered as an American Federation of Labor affiliate, then reorganized as National Association of Machinists' Local Lodge 101 (both in 1890). The local was re-chartered in August 1896, then re-organized in May 1901. The Records, 1896-1916, of Lodge 101 are composed principally of minutes and dues records.

International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAMAW) Local Lodge 174 (Washington, D.C.), "Columbia Lodge," is one of the oldest Machinists' lodges in North America. IAMAW Local Lodge 174 (Washington, D.C.) records consists of photographs, pins, financial ledgers and documents from the early portion of the lodge's history.

International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, Local Lodge 261 (Mobile, Ala.) contracts collection, 1948-1949, 1967-1998, primarily consists of printed contracts and includes a draft contract with associated correspondence, an agreement, and a printed report. The Local Lodge represented workers employed by Mobile Pulley and Machine Works in Mobile, Alabama.

International Association of Machinists, Local Lodge 774 (Wichita, Kan.) represented employees of the Cessna Aircraft Company. Its records, 1961, 1973, 1980, undated, consist of a folder of news clippings, contracts, one newsletter, and other publications.
