Abstract

The William Suttles collection consists of 48 photographs, 1982, and phonograph record sleeves, undated. The color photographs depict the first Johnny Mercer exhibit mounted at Georgia State University Library and the opening day festivities, and the record sleeves represent a wide range of companies that issued recordings of popular music in the United States, primarily during the 1930s-50s.
