Abstract:

Arch Bailey, a former PATCO employee and advocate for Controllers United, spent several decades lobbying for the rights of fired air traffic controllers to return to their jobs. The papers consist primarily of correspondence and reference files documenting the personal efforts of Arch Bailey as well as interactions between other members of Controllers United, the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration), and the Clinton Administration.

IAMAW Local Lodge 37 was chartered on July 11, 1899, and dissolved in the late 1980s. Its records relate to the day-to-day activities of a major New Orleans union and its relationship to the International headquarters, and include constitutions, bylaws, minutes, correspondence, agreement reports, financial records, membership cards and artifacts.

Abstract: Randy Razook was a member of the Professional Air Traffic Controllers Organization (PATCO) and worked for the Eastern region in the state of Massachusetts. He served as president of Local 229, Hyannis Tower and Choirboy for Clusters 28 and 29 of the Eastern region, organizing all striking controllers in this area.
