Abstract:

IAMAW Local Lodge 37 was chartered on July 11, 1899, and dissolved in the late 1980s. Its records relate to the day-to-day activities of a major New Orleans union and its relationship to the International headquarters, and include constitutions, bylaws, minutes, correspondence, agreement reports, financial records, membership cards and artifacts.

The Southern Visual Storytelling collection primarily contains comic books and other illustrated and visual texts that were created by and/or in the Southern United States. The collection includes books published by Marvel Comics, independent publishers and self-published works, such as IV Wall Comics. It dates from 1968 to 2023 with the majority of materials from 2020 to 2022.
