The Amalgamated Clothing and Textile Workers Union (ACTWU) vs. Cannon Mills Scrapbooks contains three scrapbooks of printed material, 1976-1991, when the union attempted to organize Cannon Mills (Kannapolis, N.C.). The scrapbooks cover textile industry issues such brown lung, the ACTWU's involvement in other mills, and Kannapolis' problems with illiteracy and crumbling infrastructure. The bulk of materials in the ACTWU vs. Cannon Mills Scrapbooks fall between 1976 and 1981.

Charles H. Martin's collection of copies of the testimony of Leah Young and Annie Mae Leathers, textile workers
Four photocopied pages of testimony by Leah Young and Annie Mae Leathers, dated October 2, 1934. Young had been charged under Georgia's insurrection law after passing out literature at the Exposition Cotton Mill where she worked. The originals are part of the International Labor Defense Papers (Schomburg Center, New York Public Library).

Don McKee papers
Don McKee, born in 1916, was a union organizer for the Textile Workers Union of America and a professor at Upsala College. Don McKee's Textile Workers Union of America Organizing Files consist of organizer reports from 1939 to 1949, organizing campaign publicity materials, union literature and a copy of his manuscript, "Organizing Southern Textile Workers: Early Days with the CIO."
E. Leon Stamey papers
E. Leon Stamey was Field Representative for the Organizing Department of the AFL-CIO, of Atlanta, Georgia. His papers, 1971-1975, include AFL-CIO organizing campaign files, subject files on other organizing campaigns, general files, correspondence, and printed material. The papers include some personal materials.

Eula McGill papers
Eula McGill was an organizer in the Southern textile factory worker movement of the 1930s. Her papers contain scrapbook material, composed of newspapers, clippings, and programs, which pertains to her organizing activities for the Amalgamated Clothing Workers of America in Tennessee and other topics.
Frank Sgambato scrapbooks
Frank Sgambato (1900-2002) was an organizer and officer in the United Textile Workers of America (UTWA) and a Rhode Island state senator. His scrapbooks, 1936-1952, document with newspaper clippings his work for the TWUA and American Federation of Labor as well as his early political career.
Freddie Elmer Halstead papers
Fred Halstead worked as an organizer for the Textile Workers Union of America throughout the South during the 1950s and 1960s, and took part in strikes in South Georgia and Alabama. Halstead's papers include Textile Workers Union of America activity reports relating his various organizing campaigns, 1959, 1961-1967. The papers include histories of strikes in South Georgia and Alabama, minutes of the Los Angeles Joint Board, correspondence and printed material.
Fulton Bag and Cotton Mills collection
Fulton Bag and Cotton Mill was formed from the dissolution of a business partnership between Jacob Elsas and Isaac May in 1889. In 1978, the mill was shut down. The collection includes a May 1964 issue of Fulton Cotton Mills News, negatives, photographs, product catalogue, and correspondence, 1881, 1978, undated.
