Abstract

The Atlanta Labor Council records consist of alphabetical office files, 1984-1991 and Committee on Political Education (COPE) materials, 1979-1990. The Atlanta Labor Council, AFL-CIO, consists of local unions from the metropolitan area including Fulton, Dekalb, Cobb, Clayton, Gwinnett, Newton, Rockdale, Henry, Coweta, Douglas, Fayette, Cherokee, and Forsyth counties.

IAMAW Local Lodge 37 was chartered on July 11, 1899, and dissolved in the late 1980s.
