Julie Rhoad enjoyed a successful career as a creative director, producer, and owner of Candler Creative, Inc., a firm providing innovations in communications strategy, and special event planning. She was also instrumental in bringing the Lesbian and Gay Welcome Center to Atlanta during the 1996 Olympic Games. Abstract
The William Suttles collection consists of 48 photographs, 1982, and phonograph record sleeves, undated. The color photographs depict the first Johnny Mercer exhibit mounted at Georgia State University Library and the opening day festivities, and the record sleeves represent a wide range of companies that issued recordings of popular music in the United States, primarily during the 1930s-50s.
