Abstract: Employees at the Galesburg, Illinois Midwest Manufacturing plant organized as an American Federation of Labor affiliate in 1948. In 1956, the union became Midwest Lodge 2063, International Association of Machinists, and represented the workers at the Galesburg plant until it closed in 2005.
