IAMAW Local Lodge 37 was chartered on July 11, 1899, and dissolved in the late 1980s. Its records relate to the day-to-day activities of a major New Orleans union and its relationship to the International headquarters, and include constitutions, bylaws, minutes, correspondence, agreement reports, financial records, membership cards and artifacts.

Randy Razook was a member of the Professional Air Traffic Controllers Organization (PATCO) and worked for the Eastern region in the state of Massachusetts. He served as president of Local 229, Hyannis Tower and Choirboy for Clusters 28 and 29 of the Eastern region, organizing all striking controllers in this area. Ron Elliott was a member of PATCO (Professional Air Traffic Controllers Organization) and worked as an air traffic controller for 11 years. Elliott served as a Choir Boy for Local 101 and the Atlanta cluster, organizing all striking controllers in the Metro Atlanta area.
