Advacement -- Strategic Plan, [1993]
Scope and Content Note
Series 04 consists of the records of Carl Patton's office from 1988 to 1997. Throughout his tenure at GSU, Dr. Patton has continued the university's efforts to improve Atlanta's downtown environment. Included in his records are files on the Atlanta Chamber of Commerce - Transportation, the Atlanta Project, Inroads/Atlanta Inc., and the Rialto Project. There are also files relating to the University Village - a large scale student housing project that was created to temporarily house athletes during the 1996 summer Olympic Games, but with the greater purpose of accomodating the growing student population at GSU. Subseries 3, the inaugural greetings include official messages of congratulations from a great many institutions of higher education.
