Scope and Content of the Series
This series contains correspondence, programs, minutes, reports, and other materials documenting the activities of the Office of Public Relations/Department of Public Information during the 1960s through the 1990s. A significant group of folders on Georgia State's relationship with DeKalb Community College during the early 1980s is included in Subseries 1.2 and 1.3. The largest volume of materials consists of news articles about Georgia State University from the late 1980s and early 1990s, as well as news releases and media updates from the same period released by the Department.
