Carol Brown papers
During 1993-94, Carol Brown worked to contest Cobb County's anti-gay "Family Values" resolution and to restore county arts funding. Her papers, 1993-2012, document both her activity during that period and material she collected about subsequent events. Newspaper clippings, correspondence, video recordings, and artifacts document organizations such as the Cobb Citizens Coalition and the Olympics Out of Cobb campaign.
Joyce J. Durand artifact collection
Joyce Jenkins Durand was born in Ducktown, TN in 1939. She received a B.S. in elementary education, a master's of librarianship, and a Ph.D. in educational leadership. Durand has worked for years in education and donated this collection that consists of a Susan B. Anthony dollar coin and mug promoting the Equal rights Amendment.
Sharon Mathis papers
Playwright, solo performer, and actor Sharon Mathis practiced as a psychologist for over thirty years. Her papers, 1993-2000, 2008-2020, undated, primarily consist of stories and scripts, but also contain articles and Mathis' theatrical and psychological curricula vitae.
