Correspondence topics include a dispute between Georgia NOW and Atlanta NOW that occurred during McLennan's Georgia NOW presidency. Members of the Georgia NOW Political Action Committee (PAC) created the bulk of the records. The subseries documents the PAC's candidate surveys and endorsements in the 1996 election. Other PAC files, created before McLennan became a Georgia NOW officer, include financial records, minutes, and legal documents. The financial records have been sampled and photocopied in order to decrease their bulk and to protect privacy. The subseries includes writings by Sandy Silvers, who served as president of Georgia NOW after McLennan.
