Scope and Contents of the Sub-Series

From the Sub-Series:

The files maintained by Robert Hice in his capacity as Associate Executive Director, Economic and General Welfare, Georgia State Nurses Association document his activities in continuing the work begun by Stanley Kravit. The largest accomplishment of Hice's tenure was the establishment of local chapters (rather than units) that were extensions of GNA (the New Approach Project). Hice also spearheaded the move toward informal rather than formal bargaining with employers. Files include correspondence, minutes, and reference materials.
