Reorganization study, Tennessee, 1972-1974
Scope and Contents of the Sub-Series
In the early 1970s many state nurses associations were examining their structure with the goal of reorganizing in order to more closely mirror the structure of the American Nurses Association. GNA, too, was studying the possibility of organizational structure changes. To that end, the executive office collected and kept on file materials from other state nurses' associations, including publications, letters, personnel policies, job descriptions, and the like. The materials range in date from 1972 to 1974 and are arranged alphabetically by state.
