Scope and Contents of the Subseries
This small subseries consists of materials generated by Dr. Fowlkes from the early years of Women's Studies at Georgia State. Her correspondence, as well as minutes, notes, and publicity materials make up this portion of the collection. Of particular interest are the course lists and lists of professors offering courses relating to Women's Studies. (Note that four folders contain materials written by Valerie Fennell, professor of Anthropology at Georgia State and an active participant in the early years of Women's Studies.)
