Scope and Contents of the Subseries

Subseries B consists of materials that relate to Dr. Fowlkes' activity as a professor of Political Science. The files include lecture notes, syllabi, course schedules, course evaluations, class handouts, and materials relating to topics covered in the classes, such as sexual harassment, rape, and the Equal Rights Amendment in Georgia. About half of this subseries consists of the course materials for Political Science 415, The Politics of Gender, a class that Dr. Fowlkes taught several times over the course of her career. Dr. Fowlkes' participation as an instructor of courses taught through the Department of Urban Life is also included here.
