Scope and Content of the Papers

The James O. Moore papers, 1965-1972 consist primarily of printed materials produced by the various civic and political boards, commissions, and committees in which Moore served as President of the Georgia State AFL-CIO. Government structures, Atlanta-Fulton County consolidation, and apprenticeship programs are the principal subjects. Materials include legal documents, petitions, speeches, news releases, minutes, newspaper clippings, printed material, photographs, constitutions, bylaws, periodicals, pamphlets, and correspondence.
