Moore, James O., 1905-1972

The collection consists primarily of photographs of the 1976 Georgia State AFL-CIO annual meeting, as well as sound recordings and films. The collection has been digitized and is available online.

The James O. Moore Papers, 1965-1972, consist primarily of printed material produced by the various civic and political boards, commissions and committees on which Moore served as president of the Georgia State AFL-CIO. Government structure, Atlanta-Fulton County consolidation, and apprenticeship programs are the principal subjects.

The Southern Labor Archives Biography Files are an artificial collection of printed material, such as clippings, programs, and flyers amalgamated by the Southern Labor Archives staff to provide information on local, state, and national labor leaders important to the various holdings in the Southern Labor Archives.
