Scope and Content of the Series (accession L1971-03)

From the Series:

The extensive minutes (1910-1963) of the stockholders and Board of Directors of the Atlanta Labor Temple Association discuss stock redemption, dividend payments and building maintenance, expansion and rent. Prominent among the discussants are Association leaders S. B. Marks, Carl Karston, W. C. Puckett, James A. Miller, William Van Houten, and W. M. Crim. Annual financial statements, checks and check stubs, receipt ledgers and stock transaction documents, 1912-1957, illuminate the Association's fluctuating fiscal condition. The Records include material (1916) from a cornerstone of the Labor Temple.
