"Soviet Feminist Propaganda Poster-Down With Kitchen Slavery!" magnet. Description from seller: "This is a 2" x 3" refrigerator magnet bearing a famous propaganda poster printed by the Communist Party of the Soviet Union. the government of the Soviet Union was the first pro-feminist government in the world, declaring that all citizens, men and women, were equal. this was quite a stance in one of the most patriarchal, religiously fundamental, and backward populations existing at the time. in Russian, it says "Down With Kitchen Slavery!" and the poster was originally printed for March 8 (that's International Women's Day for all you male chauvinists out there!)". 2.75" x 3.75".
