Personal materials include miscellaneous certificates presented to Kurtz. The history of the ERA in Georgia is described through newspaper clippings and writings by both Kurtz and Margaret M. Curtis [see original illustrated essay, "Working for the ERA in Georgia" in the Margaret M. Curtis Papers]. Also included is coverage of Geraldine Ferraro's campaign as the Democratic Party (1984) vice president, and candidate Evelyn Murphy's (Democrat, Massachusettes) political campaigns. Other materials relate to Women's History Week (March 1983) and the International Institute for Women's Political Leadership (an independent, non-partisan, non-profit corporation dedicated to advancing the political participation of women in the world's established and emerging democracies).
