Scope and Contents of the Sound Recording
In this recording of a radio interview on WRED Philadelphia for Veterans Administration Hospital employees with Henry Nolda, Secretary-Treasurer of the National Federation of Federal Employees (NFFE). Nolda provides an overview of the NFFE's history and the work it does on behalf of federal employees and explains how to join the NFFE. After the interview, there's a recording of a radio show from Charlotte, NC, called Arthur Smith's Corner Store. The songs played are Arthur Smith's "Guitar Boogie," the Crossroads Quartet's "I'll Be a Friend to Jesus," and "The Salty Dog Blues."
