Susan May established the Council on Battered Women, and, as President of the Board and then Director, she nurtured a small task force to become a broadly-based community organization and built a comprehensive program of crisis line, shelter, children's program, and educational services. Her papers, 1979-circa 1985, include printed material, correspondence, and an original manuscript by a Council on Battered Women staff member.

Composed of international representatives of 16 craft unions, the TVTLC represents employees of TVA in Tennessee and Alabama. The records, 1941-1974, consist of correspondence, committee files, grievances and documents pertaining to matters brought before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEO).

Tex Forman papers
Originally from Kentucky, Otho Woodrow "Tex" Forman worked as a member of several country bands. In Atlanta, Forman was known as one of Pop Eckler's bandmates, appearing as part of Pop Eckler and His Young'Uns on WSB's "Cross Roads Follies" show in 1936. His papers contain twenty-eight photographs and photocopies of songbooks and lyrics, handbills, and articles.
