International Association of Fire Fighters, Local 1460 (Marietta, Ga.) received its charter on January 9, 1963. Its records, 1962-1973, are composed of general subject files, correspondence and financial documents.

Correspondence, financial documents, and other items, relating to collective bargaining agreements, wages, joint trade agreements, chartering new locals in the South, jurisdictional disputes with Local 55 (Mobile, Ala.), Local 67 (Tampa, Fla.), and United Association of Plumbers and Steam Fitters of the United States and Canada, and International Association of Heat and Frost Insulators and Asbestos Workers. Correspondents include H.M. Hoffman and C.W. Sickles.

International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers District Lodge 751 organized in Seattle, Washington, in 1935. It represents employees at Boeing Company. Its collection (1970s-2000s) includes digital files of documents, news clippings, periodicals, audio, photographs, and correspondence.

International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, Local Lodge 2 is located in Atlanta, Georgia. Its records consist of correspondence between employers and the local, administrative files and various records, financial records and statements, artifacts, speeches and speech materials, newspaper clippings, strike information, and various subject files.

The records of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 84, 1923-1986 (bulk 1971-1986), consist primarily of the administrative, office, and reference files of J.W. Giles, documenting the day-to-day operations of the union as well as Giles' interactions with the executive and international boards of the IBEW.

International Ladies' Garment Workers' Union, Southeast Regional Office records, circa 1950s-1990s, contain correspondence, business contracts, negotiations, agreements, court documents, and strike materials. Also represented are audio tapes, video tapes, photography, and plaques.

The records of International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 926 (Atlanta, Ga.), 1927-1971, consist of the files kept by Tommy Archer as financial secretary of the local from 1949, as treasurer of the International's General Pension Fund, 1957-1966, and as President of the South Atlantic Conference of Operating Engineers, 1958-1959.

The International Woodworkers of America, Southern Region headquarters was located in Atlanta, Georgia, until 1958, when it was relocated to Memphis, Tennessee. The collection consists of correspondence, financial and legal documents, weekly work reports, minutes, notes and proposals of contract negotiations, photographs and printed materials. There are also materials related to Local 5-51 of Louisville, Kentucky.

The records of the International Woodworkers of America, Local 5-51, 1951-1968, consists of minutes of membership, Executive Board and Grievance committee meetings along with information on contract negotiations, arbitration and the 1953 organizing drive at the General Electric plant in Louisville.

The James A. Parker papers, 1948, 1975 contain a news clipping regarding the dedication of a union hall in Hampton, SC, named for Mr. Parker and the 1948 year book of the South Carolina Federation of Labor as well as a copy of the membership application to Local 1992.

James Festus Barrett (1882-1959) was a union activist for the American Federation of Labor. His papers, 1920, 1937-1959, consist of files related to AFL national officers, state federations, activity reports, organizing campaigns, and subject and name files.

Jim Malott served as the General Vice President, Organizing Department of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM), AFL-CIO in Washington D.C. His collection consists of organizing aids used by the IAM in the 1950s.

Jimi Richards served as the Secretary-Treasurer and Manager of International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Local 728, Atlanta (Ga.). The Jimi Richards collection, 1988-2003, contains correspondence, organizing materials, agreements, bylaws, local newsletters, election materials, printed materials, videocassette tapes, and case documents of Locals 728, 528, and 928 (Atlanta, Ga.)
