D. Bruce Shine worked as an attorney in Kingsport, Tennessee. He specialized in labor law and served as the General Council for the United Textile Workers of America. The D. Bruce Shine collection, 1928-1982, consists of legal case files and personal files.

The papers consist of a report titled "Florida Citrus Workers" by Aubrey Clyde Robinson, Glenore Fisk Horne, and David Ziskind.

The collection consists of records of the AFL-CIO, Decatur Area Labor Council (Decatur, Ala.) from 1953-1983. The records are comprised mainly of minutes (1957-1983) documenting the Council's activities, correspondence (1970-1971), and printed materials.

Donald P. Crane was Professor of Management at Georgia State University in Atlanta, who also served as an arbitrator in labor-management disputes. These files document his work as an arbitrator of labor disputes, 1970-1993. Most of the 550-plus cases occurred in Georgia and Tennessee.

Frank Borman is well known as the commander of the first lunar orbit mission, Apollo 8, and as the Chief Executive Officer of Eastern Airlines from 1975-1986. The Frank Borman Papers, circa 1968-1989, contain office files and correspondence once held in the Office of the President at Eastern Airline's headquarters in Miami, Florida.

Established in 1990, Georgia Labor Management Conference has the mission to enhance productivity and quality at the workplace through cooperation and mutual respect between labor and management. The collection documents the governance of the organization and planning of its annual conferences, 1990s-2000s.

The Georgia State AFL-CIO was created in 1957 by the merger of the Georgia State Industrial Union Council (CIO) and the Georgia Federation of Labor (AFL). The bulk of the records of the Georgia State AFL-CIO, 1957-1972, consist of minutes, correspondence, and financial records. Financial and other records document the Georgia State Industrial Union Council and Georgia Federation of Labor, 1916-1957.

The Georgia State AFL-CIO was created in 1957 by the merger of the Georgia State Industrial Union Council (CIO) and the Georgia Federation of Labor (AFL). The bulk of the records of the Georgia State AFL-CIO (1980s-1990s) consist of minutes, correspondence, campaign and political materials, convention materials, photographs, newsletters, VHS and cassette tapes.

The collection consists of records of District Lodge 46 (Atlanta, Ga.) of the International Association of Machinists from 1937-1965. Consists primarily of correspondence and contracts relating to union recognition and contract negotiation.

International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, District Lodge 143 represented airline workers in the Great Lakes region of North America, specifically with Northwest Airlines. The records (1946-2009) consist of bylaws, benefits and retirement information, conventions proceedings, contracts, apprenticeship materials, publications seniority lists, committee materials, financial records, artifacts, photographs, audiovisual materials, and various types of correspondence.

International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, Local Lodge 31 (Omaha, Neb.) records (1950-2020) consists of office files, benefits information, grievances, job descriptions, collective barganing agreements, training materials, correspondence, and photographs. Local Lodge 33 represented workers in the Omaha, Nebraska area. The largest industries were the Crown Packaging factory and various over the road trucking companies.

Chartered in 1890, Local Lodge 126 represents machinists in the city of Chicago and forms an important cog of the Machinists District Lodge 8. IAMAW Local Lodge 126 Records contain grievance files, contract negotations, membership records, financial records, jurisdictional disputes, work rules, patronage files, strike materials, anniversary artifacts, photographs, and correspondence.

International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, Local Lodge 609 (New Haven, Conn.) records, 1956-2006, consist of meeting minutes, correspondence, charters, collective bargaining materials, and financial records. Local Lodge 609, from New Haven, Connecticut, was founded in 1956. Local 609 represented machinists who worked at Olin Chemical Corporation and American Repeating Arms Company (Winchester Arms).

The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, Local Lodge 721 (Durham, N.C.) records contain mainly legal documents,1942-1990. The legal records cover arbitrations over labor disputes between IAM and Wright's Machinery as well as Sperry Electro Components.

Correspondence, legal documents, membership applications, injury reports, list of retired members, and other items. Includes material relating to legal proceedings against Georgia Power Company (1945-1975) and Southwire Company, Carrollton, Ga. (1957-1970); Equal Employment Opportunity Commission; and International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers; and minutes of North Georgia Building and Construction Trades Council. Correspondents include Harry Bexley, business manager, Local 613.

International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Chauffeurs, Warehousemen and Helpers of America, Local 728 (Atlanta, Ga.) Local 728 (Atlanta, Georgia) founded in the 1930s, thrived in the 1950s under the leadership of President R. C. Cook and Secretary-Treasurer Weldon Mathis. The records primarily consist of grievance cases, 1958-1967, and a small amount of material related to organizing.
