Ernest G. Welch photographs collection
Longtime Atlanta resident and philanthropist Ernest Welch was also an avid amateur photographer who travelled the world. Having served as an intelligence officer during World War II and after retiring from Sonoco Products, went back to school at Georgia State University to study photography. The Ernest G. Welch collection consists of photographic prints, slides, snapshots, negatives, personal correspondence and a scrapbook, mementos, videotapes, and notebooks.
Lane Brothers Commercial Photographers records
One of the leading commercial photography firms in mid-twentieth century Atlanta, Georgia, Lane Brothers Commercial Photographers operated from 1939 until about 1976. The records of the studio, 1893, 1934-1977, include assignment books, business records, some familty material, and photographic prints, negatives, and artifacts. Tracy O'Neal photographic collection
Tracy W. O'Neal (1900-1976) had a long career as a newspaper and commercial photographer in Atlanta. His career is documented by photographic prints, slides, and negatives as well as manuscript material. The collection contains a small number of personal slides and negatives that document O'Neal family events and vacations, as well of prints of some of his professional work.
