The Barbers, Beauticians, and Allied Industries International Association, Local 630 (Augusta, Ga.) was chartered in 1912, and was affiliated with the Journeyman, Barbers, Hairdressers, Cosmetologists and Proprietors International Union (BHCIU). The Records, 1942-1973 (bulk 1952-1972), provide information about the local's activities during the terms of office of its last two secretaries, F. J. Pritchard and Roger Rodgers.

Chet Kisling papers
Chet Kisling (born 1943) worked as an air traffic controller at the Atlanta Air Route Traffic Control Center in Hampton, Georgia. A member of the Professional Air Traffic Controllers Organization (PATCO), he was fired after the organization's 1981 strike, along with 11,000 other U.S. controllers. The bulk of his papers consist of clippings, documentation of the lawsuit he was party to regarding his dismissal, and correspondence.

Davy Paul Laborde, Sr. (1917-1991) was a fifty-year member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America Local 1846, in New Orleans, Louisiana. The papers include membership cards, dues books, photographs, newspaper articles, centennial anniversary mementos, an assortment of books on labor unions, and artifacts.
E. L. Abercrombie artifact collection
E. L. Abercrombie (1908-1989) served as executive secretary of Local 218 of the Laundry, Dry Cleaning and Dye House Workers International and was involved with charitable, political, and humanitarian organizations throughout his career. This collection includes numerous awards, plaques, and commendations given to Abercrombie.

Its records, circa 1950s-1970s, contain correspondence, collective bargaining contracts, contract and strike negotiations, agreements, National Labor Relations Board materials, and strike materials. The bulk of the material relates to a strike against Marlene Industries in Westmoreland, Tennessee.

John Sugg collection
John "Buddy" Sugg worked as a union machinist at Eastern Air Lines in the 1980s and was a member of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAMAW). The John Sugg collection consists of video cassette tapes (VHS) on Eastern Air Lines, employee services, and broadcasts on pertinent topics for workers of the time.

R. H. Baucom (1897-1967) was a member of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers Local Lodge 776 (Fort Worth, Tex.), who worked at the Convair aircraft plant in Fort Worth. His IAM collection includes Local Lodge 776 membership dues books and his retirement card (1946-1962), as well as a brief reminiscence written by his daughter, Tommie Baucom-Richardson.
