The Barbers, Beauticians, and Allied Industries International Association, Local 630 (Augusta, Ga.) was chartered in 1912, and was affiliated with the Journeyman, Barbers, Hairdressers, Cosmetologists and Proprietors International Union (BHCIU). The Records, 1942-1973 (bulk 1952-1972), provide information about the local's activities during the terms of office of its last two secretaries, F. J. Pritchard and Roger Rodgers.

Thomas H. Crim, Jr. (1918-2000) lived in Evans, Georgia, from around 1935. The majority of his papers consists of editorials, articles, and letters to the editor from the Augusta Chronicle, and documents Crim's opposition to the Chronicle's stance on gay rights, and, to a lesser extent, smokers' rights.
