Scope and Contents of the Collection

Humbert O. Nelli papers and insurance collection includes files related to Nelli's career and research as a professor in the Insurance Department at Georgia State University. The bulk of the collection contains collected printed and manuscript material concerning the business of insurance in the United States and Europe over the course of centuries, and includes research material on insurance in ancient Mesopotamia.
