Scope and Content of the Records From the Collection: The records of the Southern Woodcutters Assistance Project, 1979-1982, consist of correspondence, legal documents, newsclippings, printed materials, photographs and periodicals which documents the activities of the organization, particularly the controversy over "short sticking" (the undermeasuring of loads of lumber).
