Scope and Content of the Subseries From the Sub-Series: Printed material and some written works, primarily related to the American Red Cross instructional course, "Home Hygiene and Care of the Sick," make up the papers of Julia Mellichamp, who had chaired the Red Cross Service in her native Virginia and worked in public health positions after moving to South Carolina in 1927.
