Scope and Content of the Papers From the Collection:

The collection consists of three buttons, and seven picket signs related to a 1996 protest against the Episcopal Church's refusal to ordain women as ministers. On the verso of two of the picket signs are revealing notes written by Turner. One button appears to be from a women's strike in 1975.
