Subseries A includes seven audiocassette tapes. Three of these are recorded radio programs featuring Diane Fowlkes as a speaker or as an interviewee discussing women's issues, particularly women in politics. The other four tapes include discussions or broadcasts on various women's issues by others. A description of Audiotape 1 is provided in Box 51, Folder 5.

Highlights include portraits of Diane Fowlkes, and photographs taken on the occasions of Dr. Fowlkes' receipt of the Exceptional Service Award and the Georgia Women's Movement Project origination dinner. Negatives for selected photographs and slides of the National Women's Studies Association quilt are also included in this subseries.
