In 1977, the IAMAW established a package sponsorship association with the USAC National Championship Series for the Indianapolis "500" and the Machinists Union 150-mile Championship Event at the Trenton International Speedway. The IAM also sponsored a car and race team. The IAMAW Race Car series includes newspaper clippings, programs, Indianapolis 500 yearbooks, media guides and photographs. The photographs have been removed for preservation purposes, but are available on request....
