Scope and Content of the Papers

The Papers, 1955-1980, of the Rev. Joe Irwin consist of reports, memoranda, and a seminar paper concerning the International Labor Organization (ILO), particularly its World Employment Program; the role of the American labor organizations in the ILO; the role of multinational corporations in the world economy; teacher organizations in Catholic schools; clergy-labor conferences; and clergy involvement in labor-management relations. the papers also include statements and sermons on the subject of Labor Day.
