History of the Standard Allied Trade Council (Louisville, Ky.)

The Standard Allied Trade Council, of Louisville, Kentucky, was a conglomeration of all of the smaller craft-based unions that labored for American Standard corporation in Louisville. By consolidating their labor operations to include all crafts working for the company, the workers gained bargaining power in their dealings with management.
