Scope and Contents of the Collection
United States Department of Labor Collection, 1988, contains material that commemorates the 75th anniversary of the founding of the department. Items include a packet of printed material including programs from the Diamond Jubilee Dinner, 10 March 1988 (former Secretary W. J. Usery served as master of ceremonies); a booklet published by the Friends of the Department of Labor (W. J. Usery, chair), United States Department of Labor 75th Anniversary Commemorative Program; and two 75th anniversary souvenir keychains.
