Biographical Note about Mac McCusker

Mac Star McCusker is a ceramic artist educated at Armstrong State University and Georgia State University, where he earned a Master of Fine Arts in Studio Art (Magna cum laude). He has taught ceramics at the college level and managed studios in Asheville, N.C., and Pittsburgh, Pa. McCusker, a transgender artist and activist, often includes social commentary and LGBTQ issues in his work.
