Scope and Contents of the Papers
The Jeff Cornett papers, 1984-1993, consist of flyers, research papers, posters, medical training materials, 2 videotapes, periodicals, and t-shirts. The materials concern Cornett's work fighting the AIDS Crisis in Atlanta during the late 1980s and early 1990s. A number of the files contain Georgia Department of Human Resources materials designed to assist public health officials in their work combatting AIDS.

Biography of Jeff Cornett
Jeff Cornett, a nurse and public health activist and trainer, helped battle the AIDS crisis during the 1980s and 1990s in Atlanta, Georgia. Jeff Cornett served as Training Coordinator and later Vice President of Research and Public Policy at Hemophilia of Georgia for over 25 years. Hemophilia of Georgia is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing services and support for people who have hemophilia, von Willebrand Disease, and other inherited bleeding disorders.

The Jeff Cornett papers, 1984-1993, consist of flyers, research papers, posters, medical training materials, 2 videotapes, periodicals, and t-shirts. The majority of the collection relate to the AIDS crisis.
