Records of the the Metro Atlanta Task Force for the Homeless, circa 1987-2017, document the organization's operations and programs, such as Peachtree-Pine shelter, advocacy work, and outreach programs. Historical Note
Founded in 1981, the Metro Atlanta Task Force for the Homeless has consistently served as the central coordinating agency for services to individuals who are homeless. The task force has served several hundred thousand individuals over the years.

Technical Requirements
Access to legacy media and born-digital material requires an appointment and at least two working days' notice; consult Special Collections staff for assistance. Due to preservation and tecchnical concerns, access to some legacy media may be restricted. Digital files are stored in the Special Collections preservation system and can be made available by request on a reading room computer, subject to any restrictions deemed necessary after a departmental review.

Minor mold damage, large-format drawings/plans not properly housed, obsolete digital and AV media.

This collection has not been fully processed. This finding aid presents a rough box list with approximate dates and titles, created during accessioning (2019). As the collection is processed, materials may be relocated and citations to the unprocessed boxes rendered incorrect.
