Scope and Contents of the collection
The National Treasury Employees Union agreements collection, 1980-2010, consists of agreements between the National Treasury Employees Union (NTEU) and departments of the United States Department of Health and Human Services, such as the Food and Drug Administration, the Administration for Children and Families, and the Administration on Aging.

The National Treasury Employees Union (NTEU) was founded in October of 1939 and is an independent labor union representing approximately 150,000 employees of 30 agencies of the United States government. The union represents non-supervisory federal employees in every classification and pay level in civilian agencies.
