Scope and Contents of the Collection

Mark Show papers, 2008-2017, reflect his role as financial secretary in International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE), Local 322 (Charlotte, N.C.), and his participation in IATSE District 7 and the Southern Piedmont Labor Council of the North Carolina State AFL-CIO. In addition to financial records, contracts, and printed material related to Local 322, the papers include records related to IATSE steward and leadership training and North Carolina State AFL-CIO political activity. The papers document Show's attendance at IATSE District 7 Conventions, IATSE International Quadrennial Conventions, and North Carolina State AFL-CIO Annual Meetings with reports, notes, and agendas. Mark A. Show is a member of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE), Local 322 (Charlotte, N.C.) where he served as Shop Steward and was Financial Secretary. The local was founded in 1914 and is part of IATSE's District 7.
