The Professional Air Traffic Controllers Organization (PATCO) was formed in 1968 to represent the interests of federally employed air traffic controllers and was dissolved in 1981, after a strike against the United States government resulted in all PATCO members being fired from their Federal Aviation Administration jobs. This finding aid (number 17 of 18) describes Series XVII, Subject Files, 1964-1985 (23 linear feet of records in 55 boxes), which consists primarily of printed material.
R. H. Baucom collection of International Association of Machinists material
R. H. Baucom (1897-1967) was a member of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers Local Lodge 776 (Fort Worth, Tex.), who worked at the Convair aircraft plant in Fort Worth. His IAM collection includes Local Lodge 776 membership dues books and his retirement card (1946-1962), as well as a brief reminiscence written by his daughter, Tommie Baucom-Richardson.
Railroad unions contracts collection
The collection consists of 206 agreements, 1898-1974, between various system federations or local unions of railroad and transit workers and their employers.

Ralph Archer was a member the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers' Mt. Hood Lodge, Local Lodge 1005 (Gladstone, Or.). Collection contains three membership booklets, 1950-1970.
