Scope and Content of Series II: Vice-President's Files
The Vice-President's Files (1972-1981) include materials related to the national convention, committees and elections. The committee files contain records of such committees as Safety, Training and Personnel, and Constitution. The collection also includes financial records, collective labor agreements, publications, local union records, and voting records. The records reflect the organization's efforts in improving the working conditions of air traffic controllers including wages, better pension plans, and shorter work hours.

Historical Note
The executive vice president was responsible for at least one annual financial report to the membership, as well as for the organizational minutes and the preservation of the official records of PATCO. He was also responsible for the finances of the organization. Robert E. Poli, Robert E. Meyers and Domenic Torchia would serve as executive vice president.
