Professional Activities, 1953-1979

Series II: Professional Activities, 1953-1980, is comprised of correspondence and expense reports from Kehrer's work with the International Ladies' Garment Workers' Union (ILGWU) office in Atlanta until 1964, plus one folder of material related to his initial tenure with the AFL-CIO Civil Rights Department as Southeastern Director. This series also contains a folder circa 1975) in Kehrer's hand detailing his association with Atlanta's Labor Awards banquet. This series includes Kehrer's weekly calendars from 1955 through 1980 (minus 1973), which contain basic information concerning his daily appointments and whereabouts.
