The subseries consists of office correspondence between the General Chairman and other officers of BRAC and Southern Railway. Some of the correspondence discusses System Board Regulations of the Interstate Commerce Commission and the Railway Labor Act, but most of the subject matter deals with the day-to-day administrative operations of the General Chairman, 1963-1975.

This subseries also contains E. M. Broom's contacts, recorded telephone conversations, memoranda and overall office protocol, as well as correspondence regarding the 1956 acquisition of the mountain home in Saluda, North Carolina where BRAC members would meet casually for recreation and to discuss matters facing the union.
