Company Files, 1940-1984

The company files are in alphabetical order by company name. The files contain information on shop-by-shop organizing campaigns, subsequent elections for the union, negotiations, agreements, some grievances and arbitration cases, and correspondence. The organizing and election information show all sides in the organizing campaign (the union's efforts at getting the workers organized and the companys' efforts at keeping the union out) as well as showing how National Labor Relations Board elections are requested and held.
